Wahaha Bali Pork Ribs Review

Wahaha Bali Pork Ribs Review
I was skeptical, I've tried couple of "famous ribs" such as Tony Romas, Morganfield's and I don't think such a Ribs restaurant in Bali can defeat them. I was wrong :)  it's certainly a way better than Morganfield's ribs and comparable with Tony Romas.

My Elf also agree that it's much much better than Morganfield's but she couldn't decide which one is better between Tony Romas and Wahaha Bali Pork Ribs.

Restaurant Ambience is Bali setting, it was kind of cozy but when we visited there was a construction on outer part of the restaurant. The inside was a little bit hot even though we visited at night,

Take a look at this Fried Pork Ribs, it was good... it's crispy on the outside and it's a little bit moist in the inside. I don't like fat so I like, you certainly need to have this as your appetizer.

This is the best bbq pork ribs! it's purely meat, I like it because I don't like fat.  It was dry inside, so if you like a moist and juicy ribs you may not like this one. Nothing special about the fries and the salad.
Tasty without BBQ sauce but the BBQ sauce was delicious and the best part it's unlimited (there's a whole bottle in each table ready for you).
I would certainly recommend you to visit this place if you've time, be ready to order 2 portions because the portion is quite small.
If you are not keen to try it (but your friends are), don't worry because they've salad & soups, burger & sandwiches, pasta, Indonesian Fried Rice, Balinese Satay and many more. you can see their menu from their website http://www.wahaharibs.com/

Wahaha Pork Ribs located in Kuta, about 30 minutes drive from the Airport.

US Pre-learance at Abu Dhabi - Etihad

US Pre-learance at Abu Dhabi - Etihad
The Pre Clearance facility at the Abu Dhabi Airport allows you do to immigration clearance in Abu Dhabi before departing to US.

The US pre-clearance in Abu Dhabi is located (currently) near the gate 60.

After I arrived in Abu Dhabi, I went straight to the gate 60 to do the US pre-clearance. the person standing near the pre-clearance told me that don't go straight to the US pre-clearance because the lounge after the clearence is small and go back to do the U.S. pre-clearance 1.5 hours before depature time.

Apparently they do have two lounges, one is before the US pre-clearance which is way bigger it's called Etihad Premium lounge, the other one is the U.S. Premium lounge which is tiny.

So I went back to the gate 36-57 to the Etihad Premium Lounge.  read a short review here about the Etihad Premium Lounge.

If you are a economy class passenger, I guess you can hang around a little bit before the U.S. pre-clearance but give yourself more time because the queue inside the pre-clearance is normally long.

You need to go through the security clearance and the immigration clearance. the security is pretty unforgiving on your items, so as much as possible don't take the risk.

I bought a cream (about 120 ml) from Changi airport Singapore (they told me that it will be okay as long as it's sealed) but the security disposed it and told me it's still consider liquid sealed or not it doesn't matter.

For business / first class you'll have a different line and it's short compared to the normal line. There's another line for the U.S. citizens and permanent residence in the immigration clearance.

you can proceed to the U.S Pre-clearance Lounge or the waiting room at the gate.

Take a note that you'll arrive as a domestic, tell your counterpart in advance about this and it's better to set up a meeting point (there's a Dunkin Donut there, perfect for meeting point).
